Wat Chaiwatthanaram is part of the Ayutthaya Historical Park. It was built during the reign of King Prasat Thong in 2173. It is a very important royal temple because it is a temple where royal merit-making is performed. It is the part that connects each crematorium. The circumambulation base, which was originally covered with a roof, is enshrined in this covered walkway. There is a Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture.
