“Wat Ko Walukaram” has changed so much that we were amazed because it is more beautiful than before, almost unrecognizable. Maybe because we haven’t been here for many years.
At the very front is the enshrined Buddha Jayanti, celebrating the 2600th anniversary of the enlightenment of the Lord Buddha. On the right is a 3-storey bell tower. The temple has a sign allowing people to go up and see the view from above.
“Reclining Buddha Hall” or “Reclining Buddha” is the Buddha image for those born on Tuesday. I heard that in the past there was a large Bodhi tree standing on the side, but it was cut down. This Reclining Buddha Hall has always been with “Wat Ko Walukaram.”
