Wat Phra Singh, or Wat Phra Singh Woramahawihan, is an important temple in Chiang Mai. It is the temple that enshrines Phra Singh (Phra Buddha Sihing), a sacred Buddha image of Chiang Mai and the Lanna region. The Buddha image is in Chiang Saen art and is known as “Chiang Saen Singh Nueng”. Wat Phra Singh, a beautiful Lanna architecture that is well-known and well-known. Wat Phra Singh is also the center of the hearts of Chiang Mai people who have faith and travel to pay homage in large numbers every year. During the Songkran Festival or the traditional New Year festival, the government invites Phra Buddha Sihing to be enshrined on a royal palanquin and paraded around the city to attract faith.
