"Tarachan" is a Thai restaurant that has been a fixture in Hua Hin for over 50 years. "P'Kob" and "P'Jim," the second-generation owners, have carried on the legacy of delicious flavors that have kept customers coming back for decades—offering a unique taste that evokes a sense of nostalgia.
After operating near the Clock Tower for nearly 20 years, we were approached to lease out the space, so we decided to relocate the restaurant to the Night Market. Following the tsunami, Hua Hin became a very popular destination, prompting us to transform the venue into a Thai-style restaurant featuring traditional Thai dance performances—known as the "Hua Hin Thai Show"—for our guests to enjoy. We welcomed both Thai and international customers, though the majority were Westerners. While we have adapted to changing times, we have retained the name "Krua Tarachan."
