This Thai house is a combination of tradition and innovation. It is the origin of the museum that tells the story of Jim Thompson, the founder of the Thai silk shop. Jim Thompson led the way in making Thai silk famous around the world. Inside the museum are 6 old Thai houses that were bought from the original owners from various places in Thailand. The houses are surrounded by large trees that are almost a hundred years old. The museum displays antiques and contemporary art.

In addition, in front of the Jim Thompson Thai House Museum, there is the Jim Thompson Silk Shop, which is full of various silk products. All of them, including clothes, ties, dolls, shawls, scarves, and more.
