Wat Phra Non 600 years, Wat Phra Non, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province
Wat Sam Wihan, Wat Phra Non, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province is an old temple from the early Ayutthaya period, around the reign of King Borommarachathirat I. Khun Luang Pha Ngua received the royal charter of the boundary of the temple in 1930 B.E. and it is assumed that the important places of the temple were destroyed when Ayutthaya was lost for the second time in 1767 B.E. because Wat Sam Wihan was the temple that the Burmese chose as their base.
The pagoda is a small-sized pagoda with a high base with a 20-angle recess and is situated on a 12-angle recessed pagoda. The pagoda base consists of a 3-tiered lion base.
The main pagoda is in the shape of a large inverted bell, approximately 40 meters high. It is a pagoda from the early to middle Ayutthaya period, Sukhothai art style.
