Hala-Bala Forest consists of two main forests: "Hala Forest" in Betong District, Yala Province and Chanae District, Narathiwat Province, and "Bala Forest" in Waeng and Sukhirin Districts, Narathiwat Province. Although tourists are not allowed to stay overnight, some parts of Bala Forest are open for tourists to study nature.
Hala-Bala Forest, a tourist attraction in Yala, is nicknamed the Amazon of Asia, the only one in Thailand.
Biodiversity: This forest has a very high biodiversity and is home to many rare plants and wildlife. Hornbill Kingdom: It is home to 10 of the 13 hornbill species found in Thailand, which is a good indicator of the forest's abundance, making it a paradise for bird watchers.
